Following a single-vehicle crash in south Dublin, a man in his 80s passes away.

Yesterday at around 10.20 am, a collision happened on the Old Bray Road near Cabinteely, County Dublin.
Gardaí and emergency personnel arrived on the location, but the car’s collision with a wall left the driver dead.
A man in his 80s who was the driver was later declared dead at the scene.
His body was sent to St. Columcille’s Hospital’s mortuary, and a post-mortem will be conducted soon.
Forensic Collision Investigators also investigated the area.
The Gardaí are requesting any witnesses to contact them if they believe they saw this occurrence.
Additionally, they are pleading with any drivers who were nearby at the time and have camera footage including dash cam, to turn it over to the Gardaí.
